ShowcaseWoofstead, sample brand

Common household sighthound

Carousel · 4:5. Built at 1080 × 1350 px.

Woofstead is an invented brand from the app’s sample library. It has no customers and no product, so every figure, name and offer in this piece is fictional. The piece itself is a finished build: it went through the same brief, checks and approval as any other.

Woofstead, a Kamply sample brand. Three carousel slides shot like a nature documentary: a sighthound in profile, the plate of mince pies it is watching, and the vet nurse chat offer over the same plateCommon household sighthound, 2 of 3Common household sighthound, 3 of 3

What the brief asked for.

From brief.md, the written brief, locked before anything was designed.

Everything in the sections below is quoted from the files this build left behind. Nothing is summarised.

Audience
UK dog owners at home over Christmas, with a dog who steals food and the vet shut for days, scrolling on a party-prep evening, not in a panic
The one idea
film the dog like wildlife closing on the mince pies for the laugh, then one plain nurse line - mince pies contain raisins, sultanas and currants, which are toxic to dogs; eaten one, call your vet

What success looks like
"that is so my dog" at thumbnail size - saves and tag-a-friend shares first, first-chat taps second

Notes

V1, 3 slides: (1) stakeout photo, blurred door edge in the foreground, small lower third bottom left "Common household spaniel, 24 December, 21:40", no scrim; (2) close crop of the plate, the nurse's line quoted; (3) end slide, logo + "Ask a vet nurse" pill.

V2, 2 slides: (1) dog in a Santa hat filling the top 70%, headline "Ask a vet nurse this Christmas", orange pill; (2) the nurse's line quoted, logo. The Santa-hat portrait is the category cliché (Strategy); it builds as Route 0, the baseline.

Humour belongs to the dog; no nature-voice line mocks the owner. No puns, no "fur baby", no breed stereotypes.

Stock risk (Ideas desk): a dog at a plate of mince pies is rare in stock; two photos matched for angle and light are fine if no single shot exists.

The lead visual device, and why.

From patterns.json, where each variant declares what it leads with.

  1. V1

long-lens hide photo through a door gap, documentary lower third in the body face

Route R1, borrow-a-genre: the camera takes one spaniel as seriously as a wildlife crew, so the laugh lands before the nurse's mince-pie line

Caption

Christmas Eve, 15:40. The mince pies are 1 metre away.

Mince pies contain raisins, sultanas and currants, which are toxic to dogs. If yours has eaten one, call your vet. If your practice is shut over Christmas, call an emergency practice.

For the questions that can wait, a registered vet nurse is on chat from 7 am to 11 pm, every day.

Slide 1: Close on the head and neck of a long-haired sighthound, nose down, moving towards something just out of frame. A caption in the corner reads "Common household sighthound, Canis familiaris, 24 December, 15:40".

Slide 2: Three mince pies on a blue plate, one broken open to show the fruit filling, labelled "The target, mince pies, 1 metre away". Below, a quote from a Woofstead vet nurse: "Mince pies contain raisins, sultanas and currants, which are toxic to dogs. If your dog eats one, call your vet."

Slide 3: The Woofstead logo, the headline "A vet nurse on chat until 11 pm", an orange "Ask a vet nurse" button, "Try your first chat free", and a note: "In an emergency, call your vet or an emergency practice." Below, a close photo of the bitten mince pie on its plate.
