Chocolates and daffodils go up high

Carousel · 4:5. Built at 1080 × 1350 px.

Woofstead is an invented brand from the app’s sample library. It has no customers and no product, so every figure, name and offer in this piece is fictional. The piece itself is a finished build: it went through the same brief, checks and approval as any other.

Woofstead, a Kamply sample brand. Four carousel slides with handwritten labels: a corgi eyeing a boiled egg on a white table, an open box of chocolates seen from above, a French bulldog asleep in front of a vase of daffodils, and the offer to ask a vet nurseChocolates and daffodils go up high, 2 of 4Chocolates and daffodils go up high, 3 of 4Chocolates and daffodils go up high, 4 of 4

What the brief asked for.

From brief.md, the written brief, locked before anything was designed.

Everything in the sections below is quoted from the files this build left behind. Nothing is summarised.

Audience
UK dog owners who get breakfast in bed, flowers or chocolates on Mothering Sunday, and whoever carries the tray up for them
The one idea
Most of the Mothering Sunday tray is fine for the dog to sniff, and two presents, the chocolates and the daffodils, go up high

What success looks like
At thumbnail size it reads as a dog looking at breakfast on a table with handwriting on the photo; the viewer saves it or sends it to whoever is buying the flowers

Notes

Slides: 4. Slide 4 is the End slide (logo, line, accent pill, a picture from the post). Middle slides carry no logo.

Claims ruling (Strategy desk, Ruth). Cleared to print: "dogs shouldn't eat chocolate", "dogs shouldn't eat daffodils", "if your dog has eaten either, call your vet or an emergency practice", and the product facts in brand/BRAND.md. Not cleared: doses or amounts, symptom lists, "safe" or "harmless" for anything, the words toxic, deadly or danger, raisins or simnel cake, vase water, tulips, breed or size claims.

The "call your vet or an emergency practice" line comes before the CTA and stands apart from it, so the post never reads as "open the app instead of calling".

CTA: "Ask a vet nurse", on the End slide only.

Source trace is open: neither health line has been traced to a UK veterinary source yet. It is recorded in copy.md before the post is finished.

No date on the slides. Mothering Sunday 2027 works out as 7 March but nobody checked a calendar.

Stock reality (Idea visual desk, Pexels and Unsplash): no photo holds a dog, a tray, chocolates and daffodils together. Slides 1 and 4 show Pexels 6773095, a corgi looking at a boiled egg in an egg cup on a table (a table, not a tray, so no slide line says tray). The first build used Pexels 10117829, a saluki beside a tray on a bedside table; fix round 1 replaced it because another Woofstead Sample uses that shoot. Dog with daffodils indoors: Pexels 37388826. Daffodils on a bed tray, no dog: Pexels 7580976 / 7580978. A dog with a box of chocolates does not exist in stock; the box appears alone (Pexels 25068372, 11948500, 38444667).

So a label names only what its own frame shows. V1 falls back to one photo per slide where the single frozen photo cannot carry a present: the chocolates get a frame of the box, labelled as the box. No composite passed off as one photo, and no AI-generated image.

No phone screen and no product UI: the brand has neither.

British English. "Mothering Sunday", "mum", "vet". The dog gets a name.

The lead visual device, and why.

From patterns.json, where each variant declares what it leads with.

Caption

Happy Mothering Sunday. If breakfast came up to you this morning, the dog probably got to it before you did.

Two of today's presents go on a high shelf, the chocolates and the daffodils. Dogs shouldn't eat either one.

If your dog has eaten either, call your vet or an emergency practice.

For the smaller questions, a registered vet nurse is on chat from 7 am to 11 pm, every day. Your first chat is free.

CTA: Ask a vet nurse to woofstead.example

Alt text

1. A corgi rests his paws on a white table and looks at a boiled egg in an egg cup in front of him. Hand-written labels point to the dog and to the egg. 2. An open gold box of dark, milk and white chocolates seen from above, with a hand-written label reading "the box of chocolates". 3. A French bulldog asleep on the floor in the sun, a glass vase of yellow daffodils behind him. Hand-written labels point to the daffodils and to the dog. 4. The Woofstead logo, a line telling owners to call their vet or an emergency practice if their dog has eaten either, an orange button reading "Ask a vet nurse", a line giving the chat hours and the free first chat, and the corgi looking at the egg again.

What the record says

The approval lines from production/signoffs.md, the file where each approval is written down, and the checks stored with the kept sample.
