ShowcaseDarnfold, sample brand
Road works on your inner thigh
Feed post · 1:1. Built at 1080 × 1080 px.
Darnfold is an invented brand from the app’s sample library. It has no customers and no product, so every figure, name and offer in this piece is fictional. The piece itself is a finished build: it went through the same brief, checks and approval as any other.

What the brief asked for.
From brief.md, the written brief, locked before anything was designed.
Everything in the sections below is quoted from the files this build left behind. Nothing is summarised.
- Audience
- People who buy fewer clothes and want them to last, scrolling a Black Friday feed full of discounts, who already own a pair of jeans with a thinning knee or inner thigh
- The one idea
- On the day everyone sells you more jeans, Darnfold says the pair you own can be fixed; Black Friday is the date, the repair is the story, and there is no offer
- Format
- square
- Ratio
- 1:1
- Imagery
- photo
- What success looks like
- At thumbnail size the viewer thinks "I didn't know you could fix that" and books a repair; nobody reads it as a deal
- Route
- R1 + 0
- Route 0
- No Black Friday sale, free repairs instead, set as type on the dark field
- The Route picked
- R1 + 0
Notes
CTA: "Book a repair" only (sanctioned in brand/BRAND.md). No "Shop the three cuts" on this post.
No prices on the post (£95, £30 credit, £55 Second Run read as a promotion on this date). Keep "free repairs for as long as you own the jeans" verbatim; never "free forever".
Never "sustainable", "eco", "green", "zero waste", "guilt-free", "conscious", or any implied planet claim. No shame about shoppers or fast fashion.
Demo numbers allowed (fictional brand): 3,800 repairs, inner thigh most repaired, one pair back four times.
Imagery: no product shots exist. V1 needs a real stock photo of worn jeans with a split inner thigh (needs[] kind photo, Pexels/Unsplash, graded) and ready-made 1:87 figure cutouts (Vecteezy); figure light and scale must match the photo. Keep the shot overhead mid-distance, never a macro darn (macro-repair-closeup is in the last 3 shipped). Never a rendered fake garment.
V2 is type-led: the copper stitch line has to grow into the visual so the slide meets the 60% visual rule.
The lead visual device, and why.
From patterns.json, where each variant declares what it leads with.

Caption
We're spending Black Friday at the repair bench.
We've done 3,800 repairs so far, and the inner thigh comes up more than any other spot. One pair has been back four times.
Every pair of Darnfold jeans comes with free repairs for as long as you own the jeans. Bring yours to the workshop in Leicester, or post them and we pay postage both ways in the UK.

Slide 1: A pair of light-blue jeans split across the inner thigh. Tiny model road workers stand on the tear, one digging and one watching, between two orange traffic cones, with copper thread running to a spool further up the leg and a tag reading "Our most repaired spot". Below: "Black Friday road works on your inner thigh.", "Free repairs for as long as you own the jeans." and a copper button reading "Book a repair", with the Darnfold logo.
What the record says
The approval lines from production/signoffs.md, the file where each approval is written down, and the checks stored with the kept sample.
- brief-locked: 2026-10-01
- winner-approved: 2026-10-01 · winner: V1
- Framing
- The repair as public works: while the high street shops, the workshop has a crew on your inseam.
- Structure
- Single square. The leg runs corner to corner, the crew sits on the tear, one line in the lower third, the Book a repair pill under it.
- Tone
- Dry and a bit proud; the joke is the scale, the line stays exact.
