ShowcaseBoxkin, sample brand

Mid-air, it’s still Ana’s box

Feed post · 1:1. Built at 1080 × 1080 px.

Boxkin is an invented brand from the app’s sample library. It has no customers and no product, so every figure, name and offer in this piece is fictional. The piece itself is a finished build: it went through the same brief, checks and approval as any other.

Boxkin, a Kamply sample brand. A square diagram post: a cardboard box with eyes in mid-air between two desks, with three numbered labels explaining who owns it at each point

What the brief asked for.

From brief.md, the written brief, locked before anything was designed.

Everything in the sections below is quoted from the files this build left behind. Nothing is summarised.

Audience
team leads and ops-minded people on 3 to 30 person teams who have lived "I thought you had it"; the image mirrors their own Friday handoff, the object being passed, never a smiling stock team
The one idea
a handoff has three parts (a note, a pass, an accept) and you can see all of them; until the next person accepts, the box is still yours
Format
square
Ratio
1:1
Imagery
props-only
Why that imagery
Boxkin is fictional and has no product shot (BRAND.md: no product UI at all); the post leads with drawn props, the kraft box, the note and the hands or desks, labelled as parts
What success looks like
at thumbnail size it reads as one labelled moment with three numbered parts; first reaction "ha, that's our Friday", second "one owner per box, okay, I get it"; a save or a forward is the win
Route
R2 + 0
Route 0
three numbered steps: write the note, pass the box, the next person accepts
The Route picked

Notes

Gut (verbatim): feel "a handoff has three parts and you can see all of them"; first idea "three numbered steps: write the note, pass the box, the next person accepts"; wish "exploded diagrams where every part is labelled".

Route pick by the wave (Sample wave 1): R2, the closest to "a handoff frozen mid-air between two desks, every object labelled with leader lines".

V1 is a single square: headline in the top band, arc left to right with the box at its peak, callouts 1 the note on the lid (what is done, what is next), 2 the arc (still Ana's box), 3 the open side (Rui accepts, now it is his). Use R2's fallback by default: two desk edges in place of hands. That is nearer the pick's "between two desks", and drawn hands risk looking like clip-art. Owner names in violet (--cobalt); the yellow tape marks the one thing not yet done. End band: logo + "Pass your first box" pill.

V2 is a 4-slide square carousel: 1 write the note (the note beside the box, never a lid close-up: boxkin-classified led with that), 2 pass the box (owner name still in violet), 3 they accept (name changes), end slide = logo + "Start free" pill. Big violet step number on each slide, with the box as the constant object.

CTAs: "Pass your first box" or "Start free" only. Never uppercase, labels included; notes in Onest 600, headlines in Bricolage Grotesque 700. The mascot never speaks.

The lead visual device, and why.

From patterns.json, where each variant declares what it leads with.

  1. V1

a kraft box with eyes frozen mid-air on a dashed arc between two kraft desks (a top and one leg each, a mug on Ana's), three plain ink numerals at the ends of thin leaders pointing at the lid note, the owner tag and Rui's desk

a handoff has three parts and you can see all of them: the note, the owner tag that still says Ana in the air, and the desk where Rui accepts it

Caption

Ana writes a note on the box: what's done, what's next. She passes it to Rui. Rui accepts it, and only then is it his.

Until he accepts, the box stays on Ana's list, so neither of them can assume the other one has it.

Alt text

A drawn kraft box with two eyes hangs mid-air on a dashed arc between two kraft desks, Ana's on the left with a mug on it and Rui's on the right. Headline: "Mid-air, it's still Ana's box." A note on the box's lid reads "Done: the draft" and "Next: proofread", and a tag on the box reads "owner Ana". Three numbered leaders point at the parts: 1, the note, "A note on the lid says what's done and what's next."; 2, the owner tag, "Still on Ana's list."; 3, Rui's desk, "Rui accepts it. Now it's his." Below sit the Boxkin logo and a button reading "Pass your first box".
