ShowcaseNutriScan
A plate drawn in one line
Reel · 9:16. Built at 1080 × 1920 px.
NutriScan is a real nutrition app, and this is work made for it in Kamply.
The animatic is a rough timing pass. It is shown on the Plan sheet, the one page you approve, before any scene is built. Both films are re-encoded small for this page; the finished reel has its music.
What the brief asked for.
From brief.md, the written brief, locked before anything was designed.
Everything in the sections below is quoted from the files this build left behind. Nothing is summarised.
- Audience
- health-conscious adults 30+ worldwide who already glance at salt and fat on a label; global framing, nothing region-coded
- The one idea
- one continuous ink line draws a plate of salmon, oats, berries, nuts and olive oil, and the plate's lines close into a heart; small chips name the numbers you can see for every meal (sodium, saturated fat, potassium, omega-3)
- Scope
- one 20 s reel, en, 9:16 (1080×1920), music-only, no brand name or logo on screen
- Format
- evidence-explainer
- Style
- hand-drawn-doodle-art
- Length
- 20s
- Imagery
- props-only
- Music
- sparse felt piano over a soft low pulse near 72 bpm, warm and human, one small lift near 14 s, 1 s tail fade
- Call to action
- none on screen; the caption carries the app name and "Scan your next meal"
- What success looks like
- people watch to the end and save or share it on World Heart Day; the heart reads at thumbnail size
- The Route picked
- The files for this build record no Route pick, so none is shown here.
Why this video
World Heart Day is 2026-09-29, today, so the reel should post the same day. It shows the heart-relevant numbers the app already lists for each meal, drawn as minimal ink art with no product UI and no branding.
Sound
Music-only, with 3 to 4 on-screen ink lines. The sfx are quiet ink-drop or brush touches on each chip and one low heartbeat thump when the heart closes, all kept under the bed. Bed at -18 LUFS.
The lead visual device, and why.
From patterns.json, where each variant declares what it leads with.
Beat 1: First stroke
one self-drawing ink line: the pen dot lands, the plate rim closes, the line runs on into the salmon
Beat 2: The plate fills
the same line tours the plate clockwise: oat bowl, berries, almonds, olive oil drop; the headline writes each food's word on its outline window
Beat 3: Lines close
four ink ticks (f313/331/350/369) glaze the plate, nuts, berries and salmon a second time, no lettering; then the food folds toward centre and fades while the rim's 97 points pull into a heart that floods red on the f425 thump
Beat 4: Heart holds
resolve line under a held emblem: the red heart beats on the music grid as the drift continues and the payoff line writes on above it
What the record says
The approval lines from production/signoffs.md, the file where each approval is written down, and the checks stored with the kept sample.
