Does my image get uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read by your browser, drawn to a canvas in the page, and read back out as a JPEG. It never leaves the tab, there is no upload route to send it to, and nothing about the image is recorded. Close the tab and it is gone.
Why these three sizes and not a longer list?
They are the three Kamply's engine exports: 4:5 at 1080x1350, 1:1 at 1080x1080, and 9:16 at 1080x1920. 4:5 is the tallest a feed post can be, 1:1 is the square carousel slide, and 9:16 covers reels, stories and shorts. A longer list would mostly be sizes that get downscaled again on upload.
What quality does it export?
JPEG at quality 0.92, at the full pixel size for the ratio you picked. The preview is drawn at a third of that so dragging stays smooth, but the preview and the export run the same geometry, so the crop you see is the crop you get.
Does Kamply do this for me?
