I’ve always liked how documentaries use archive photography — not by making old images look new, but by adding just enough movement to make them feel like footage that was actually captured. So for the launch of invideo Agent Two, I tested a different kind of AI filmmaking workflow. I built a small archive department with Expert Agents, gave them the images, a short treatment and one shared set of visual rules. The Archive Producer decides which photographs can handle parallax, which should barely move and which are better left almost untouched. A DOP can then take over without me rebuilding the creative brief for every shot. For me, that’s the interesting shift with agentic video workflows: less time micromanaging individual generations, more time actually directing the sequence.
