Competitor decision brief

Visit mynetdiary.com

What MyNetDiary customers say

They are strongest on food logging, barcode coverage, nutrition detail, customization, and accountability. Their clearest weaknesses are the free-versus-paid boundary, AI accuracy, interface complexity, and update-related friction. You can take those openings by showing a simpler logging path, publishing clearer access rules, and treating automation as optional and verifiable.

MyNetDiary reviews, read · 60 of 160 read one by one · 2026-08-29T11:28:41.225Z

The 60 newest reviews are strongly positive about food databases, barcode scanning, macro detail, customization, and weight-loss accountability. The main risks are unclear free-versus-paid boundaries, repeated Premium prompts, AI accuracy, navigation complexity, and recent interface changes. You can compete by making pricing and core access plain, showing reliable logging workflows, and treating AI as optional rather than necessary.

100xs better than the other apps

I had been using a different app (the blue one) for YEARS. Then all of the sudden, my data was gone. Since I wasn’t bound to any history, I decided to shop around before just restarting with the same app. I did a quick search on Google of the “best” ones and found this app. It is fantastic! More food options to enter in the diary, better exercise entries. I realized that the other one has not improved in 10 years. AND this one is cheaper. Overall really impressed. I’m glad MyFitnesspal deleted all my info. I never would have jumped ship otherwise! Hooray for happy accidents!

This is The One

This is the app for me. I’ve used Noom and MyFitnessPal, and this one is worth every single penny. It has all the bells and whistles, and allows for customization. It’s simple enough for me to use daily and I’ve lost more weight by taking their recommendations. I had to increase my calorie intake and ended up losing more weight. 10/5 stars.

Use it every day

I continue to use this every day free of nuciance advertising. If you are serios about weight control this is the app. You must recognize that is the app that goes along with a subscription.

It’s very easy to understand and There’s a lot you can do without getting premium .But if you do get premium, the nicest thing is the meal scan

Easiest and Best

I’ve tried other trackers, but I always go back to this one. It gives you the most information and is the easiest to track whatever diet you happen to be on!

2026 reviewer

Great for counting calories, huge library of foods and great ways to break down most foods in calories per item when not having a serving.
