Aidy reviews, read · 7 of 7 read one by one · 2026-08-29T15:41:46.893Z
Across the 6 relevant reviews, they are strongest on simple symptom and food tracking, trigger discovery, and IBD-specific onboarding. One reviewer reports that the AI overstates capabilities, while another reports a crash when deleting medication data, so you can compete by making feature boundaries and reliability visible. The Gut Hero review is set aside because it appears to review a different app.

Very helpful but the AI sometimes
I love using this app. The AI chat is pretty good but it seems to “think” the app has more capabilities than it actually does, which can sometimes make things a little confusing. The daily “articles” often suggest making notes about stools but the stool recording feature doesn’t have any kind of note feature. Still overall very good as long as you have a reliable internet signal.
Helpful for Crohn’s
With a chronic illness like Crohn’s, it can be difficult to track trends over a long period of time to assess if treatment is working or not. This app has made it incredibly simple to track my day to day symptoms, find trigger foods, and keep track of when my meds are due. Also, it is helpful for giving concise information to a physician to direct treatment.
Please fix
My problem is persisting and I am off my antibiotics finally but I still can’t delete them from the app, it just crashes the second i tap on it. Please fix this. Otherwise great job
Long time IBD patient and happy user
I can across Aidy and immediately had the best onboarding experience. It’s clear the developers understand our pain points as IBD patients! I’m confident I’ll be able to track and manage my condition more effectively now with this app!
Use it if you have IBD, seriously
Extremely slick app. Been struggling with IBD for years but was never consistently able to log my habits/symptoms. Highly recommend Aidy— it makes it so easy to do it and it’s even shown me some triggers that I would’ve never discovered myself.
Physician Approved
I am a family physician in a rural area and I often have patients with low resources and chronic upset stomach who have a hard time tracking their triggers. Tracking food intake is a challenge even with an experienced dietician, so Gut Hero has been a godsend for these folks. I’ve found myself recommending it to patients more and more frequently alongside regular visits to the doctor!
Solve your gut issues!
Tracking food and finding trigger patterns couldn’t be any easier. Highly recommend this app to anyone with gut issues. 👏🏼👍🏻
