What Thunder Compute customers say

They position themselves as low-cost GPU infrastructure with simple access for AI training, inference, and experimentation. Their strongest proof is developer workflow convenience, while reviews expose supply constraints, workload-specific failures, and some unclear product boundaries. You can take share by making capacity, compatibility, and billing conditions easier to verify before purchase.

Thunder Compute reviews, read · 8 of 8 read one by one · 2026-08-29T14:50:20.741Z

The 8 newest reviews show strong approval for low prices, fast setup, CLI or editor integrations, and SSH access. The main risks are GPU availability, mode-specific failures, UI defects, and unclear cost or capability boundaries. You can compete by making capacity, workload compatibility, and total billing behavior visible before signup.

Thunder Compute is not suitable for ComfyUI

The only real benefit is access to an A100 GPU at a low hourly rate, which on paper makes high-end hardware affordable for individual users. In practice, for my ComfyUI use case it didn't translate into a usable workflow, so the benefit stayed theoretical.

Affordable Compute Power with Seamless Integration

I use Thunder Compute for training AI models and finetuning. It solves the problem of training complex neural models efficiently, being cost-effective. We switched from Google Colab due to Thunder Compute's affordability, accessibility, compute units not expiring, and near equal pricing.
