What Sunflower Clinic customers say
They appeal to people seeking sobriety support through visible day counts, check-ins, AI companionship, and peer resources. Their clearest weaknesses are app reliability, paid access to important support, trial billing friction, and AI feedback that can feel overly reassuring. You can compete by making your recovery method, safety boundaries, pricing, and support availability easier to understand and trust.

Their strongest proof is a recovery loop built around day counts, visual progress, check-ins, journaling, AI support, and community. Reliability and access issues are the main weaknesses: 5 of the 20 reviews mention crashes or opening problems, while several others describe premium limits, pricing changes, or billing disputes. The AI also draws a safety concern because one reviewer wants more candid feedback instead of constant reassurance.

Helpful to Binge Eating Disorder too! If you struggle like I do with a binge eating disorder, sometimes the best approach is a little unorthodox. Treating it like an addiction and recognizing that as an issue and turning to this app has helped in preventing harmful binges. Seeing a visual sunflower field fill up each day I don't fall back into a binge has helped in giving visual proof that even one week or one month is a huge feat. Highly recommend!
I HARDLY ever leave a review on apps but omg this app is actually amazing! it hasn't even been a full two days of me using it and I am in love! Login is beyond easy, the whole app really is beyond user friendly. there's widgets you can put on your home screen so you can always easily see your sober timer. you can set multiple timers for different substances, if needed. there's a whole social part were you can view other people's journeys and like and comment on their journeys! Above five stars!
I Love that this app helps you keep up with your clean time, it makes me want to keep adding to my clean time, which of course in turn makes me want to stay clean and sober!!! I also like the little journal things you can do daily if you'd like and you can go back later to see how you were feeling along your journey of getting and staying clean!!! ❤️💯
I had an open DCS case for most of my journey, now that it's over I felt as tho I didn't have that accountability anymore, so someone told me About sunflower.. if your honest when you do your check ins I feel as though that's accountability for me, I have to stay right so my check ins stay right. and seeing them numbers everyday when I open the app, helps me to keep pushin. there's so many resources in the app as well. if at first it doesn't seem like it's helping, just keep coming back it will
Loved the concept and the tracking and check-in concepts. However the biggest help(in my opinion) would be the AI for when people are going to relapse and need someone to talk to ASAP. Not everyone has the money to pay for premium. I don't think it should be advertised for the AI and helping people stay sober, if the most helpful part is premium only... I definitely think the AI should be free, for all the people out there at rock bottom.
I love the day count! Gives me some immediate success gratification. The chat and social features are always there when I need them!! I am on this app many many times a day and would recommend giving it a try. No ads.. no sales.. absolutely worth checking it out!! Free unless you upgrade. It is a win for me.
this app is way more than the cute sunflowers and bees. and it's way more than just a day counter. it has MANY helpful tools, like psychiatrist and addiction counselors, peer support groups, journaling, worksheets about learning about addiction and so much more! . I love it so far! worth the money (only app I have ever paid for).
WAS a great app but now all the sudden I have "limited" messages with Sam AI despite for ELEVEN days being able to talk to it as much as I wanted. Now after an update, it's all out of wack, and everything's glitching including the wifi connection to the app despite every other app working fine. this ABSOLUTELY PMO, I immediately went from sober to back to how I was before all because of this app being suddenly updated. YALL RUINED THE APP FOR ME
