What Parrot customers say
They own a clear niche around learning Spanish from short videos and native speech rather than conventional drills. Customer feedback supports the practical-content story, but trial friction and limited practice detail weaken trust. You can take the category by showing a structured path from authentic content to active speaking while making access terms explicit.

Their strongest customer proof centers on native-speaker video, practical language use, and faster progress than traditional app lessons. Their clearest risk is access and billing: 5 of the 22 reviews complain about trial or payment friction, while 1 reports a blocking white screen and 1 criticizes pronunciation practice. You can compete by making access terms plain and pairing natural content with a visibly structured practice loop.

Duolingo is better and I’m against Duolingo
This is way better than Duolingo
Used Duolingo for 2 years, went to a trip in Salvador and barely got by in Spanish. After that, tried this app for three weeks, didn’t think it was gonna help, but my Spanish instantly improved to a conversational level thanks to the video feed features. Would recommend.
Actually works!
I’ve been holding off on my kids screen time because I find they’re super obsessed with my phone but lately I’ve just been letting them sit on this app rather than playing games and they’ve actually enjoyed this more! They really love the feed and clicking the words. Really like how the company gets back to you on any concerns as we had a slight issue and they fixed it right away. Super super cool and definitely great for kids to learn.
Trial
It is not letting me use the app unless I continue with a free trial. Pmo.
I think most reviews are fake
Most reviews are fake, I purchased the free trial to learn Spanish and the app actually sucks. Doesn’t repeat pronunciation of words during practice and very hard to follow. Very lazy app, devs just threw random TikTok vids on it and called it a day. What a shty app.
Dont download it
Do not listen to the fake reviews under the app, it’s not free and duolingo is better AND free, really disappointed and I do not recommend
Not worth it
can’t even use the app without having to pay 10 dollars a week might as well stick w Duolingo
This is how you actually learn
Duolingo is fake productivity, this is how you really learn + it’s fun
