What Heypocket customers say
They win trust when the product turns conversations into summaries, to-dos, and follow-up material across work, school, health, and personal use. Their clearest weakness is the gap between the hardware purchase and the paid service, especially when retention, exports, or core AI functions feel restricted. You should compete with explicit pricing, durable access to recordings, visible accuracy safeguards, and proof for each audience you target.

Their strongest proof is practical: people use them for meetings, calls, medical visits, school, recruiting, and field work, with summaries and to-dos doing most of the value work. The main competitive opening is trust after purchase, since 8 of the 60 newest reviews raise subscription, retention, or upsell concerns and 4 report serious reliability or AI-quality problems. You should make total cost, data retention, export workflow, and accuracy limits explicit before the sale.

Pocket does a good job of recording the transcript but is best combined with ChatGPT to prove meaningful notes etc. this is partly because ChatGPT knows the context of your discussions leaned from your history. The two together would get 5 stars.

I am treasurer of a small HOA with many elderly residents (myself included - I am 70 but worked 40+ years in IT) that cannot step up to the secretary role to take notes and participate in our meetings at the same time. I brought my pocket to our last meeting, and everyone was impressed with the transcript that captured everything, a concise summary that got every important point, plus the to do list. Incredible!

I love the recordings and that just hit a button and it goes. I don’t like that my recordings only last for 30 days though. Also I wish I could record when I have my EarPods in. Most people talk on the phone with EarPods in no one really holds the phone to their ear anymore

Amazing!!
The Pocket recording device is absolutely amazing and a game changer for note taking and organization. I love this device!!
Perfect from the start
From the start, Pocket has been on top of everything! I appreciate the thorough onboarding and communication, but the best part is my Pocket itself...LOVE IT!
My Pocket is the tool you didn't know you needed
My pocket showed up in the typical 5-7 business days window. Simple yet solid tech. Records nicely, it does however, take some personal training to remember to slide the switch if your on the phone or live. Wasn't aware of the fee structure for more processing, but thats more my fault for not reading the details. Overall, very happy with my new Pocket. A-
