Competitor decision brief

What Frigade customers say

They position Frigade as an AI-powered product onboarding and in-app support layer for SaaS teams. Their customer proof is strongest around contextual guidance, self-serve support, and product-team control over tours and announcements. You can attack the gap between their broad claims and the reported limits in follow-up, framework coverage, mobile support, and tour administration.

Frigade reviews, read · 11 of 11 read one by one · 2026-08-29T19:08:39.576Z

10 of the 11 reviews are recent G2 reviews that praise contextual onboarding, in-product guidance, and AI assistance. The repeated proof points are faster activation, fewer support questions, and updates that product teams can make without engineering. The main risks are one report of post-sales ghosting, missing Angular support, a manual tour-reset workflow, and limited mobile support.

Ghosted after sales call

Eric and the team did a great job explaining the product during our sales call—it seems like a well-designed and promising solution. However, we were disappointed that after the call, our follow-up emails and live chat messages were completely ghosted. Additionally, the product currently lacks Angular support, which while not a blocker for our use case, is problematic. Given that this is a mission-critical customer-facing dev tool, reliable and responsive support would be essential for us to leverage Frigade.

Role-Aware In-Product AI Help That Guides Users Right on Screen

Frigade gives Nuvolos an in-product guidance layer that helps users move through complex workflows with less friction. Instead of searching documentation or waiting for support, users can ask questions directly in the platform and receive guidance suited to their current access level and responsibilities. For Nuvolos, this improves self-service support while preserving a clear path to human help when needed. The assistant can provide immediate answers for routine tasks, reduce avoidable support requests, and hand conversations to the support team with useful context when an issue requires personal assistance.

The assistant answers before our team has to

Our onboarding process was very long and complex, targeting different flows based on customer properties. Frigade is finally making onboarding easy. In the era of AI, we are leveraging Frigade Assistant to deliver personalized onboarding to each customer

The onboarding layer we stopped maintaining by hand

Getting users adopted is tough. Not just new users, but existing users sometimes need to be reengaged too such that they understand how the product has evolved and what it can offer them. Frigade has helped us eliminate hand crafting in app guidance and really handled all of the targeting of cohorts cleanly. Although it's more of an engineering enabled tool, with the rise of vibe coding, there's no excuses to miss an engagement opportunity with your users. Because it's implemented in code, you can effectively control the entire look and feel to ensure it looks native to your application.

Frigade Engage Makes Onboarding Easy—Tours, Announcements, and No-Deploy Updates

Easy onboarding and product announcements. Before Frigade we had to spend a ton of time wiring up a bunch of modals to every feature we released. With Frigade it's still a small code change but it's a very simple workflow. It's also nice we can add certain rules to different flows so a user isn't bombarded with a ton of feature announcements at once. Frigade gives us that flexibility out of the box.

Actionable Assistant That Deflects Support and Adapts as We Ship

Before Frigade, new sellers on Valley's platform would hit friction early — not understanding how to invite teammates, fix LinkedIn connection issues, or navigate the product on their own. That meant direct support volume from day-one questions that should've been self-serve. Frigade solved that by turning those moments into guided, in-product actions. Instead of reading instructions, sellers get walked through their actual account state and the right UI triggers at the right time. The result is faster activation, fewer support pings, and a team that can ship without worrying about whether the help layer will keep up.

The best AI in-app assistant for SaaS onboarding, activation, and support

Frigade solves for timely support for new users – from basic queries to complex ones, right at the point they need it most. Often times, people do their initial setup at off-hours, and we cannot respond to them as quickly as we like, but Frigade makes it easy for them to get clear, well refined answers without us needing to do almost any setup.
