Lack of optimizations and updates. Unpolished intuitive design.
Been using Alice.tech since the beginning, but the lack of optimization makes it hard to recommend. The UI/UX needs to be much more intuitive. Currently, diagram and roadmap customization is extremely limited, and you can't modify files once they are uploaded (you can't even change the order of the files, or create a properly hierarchical bubble diagram, which is arguably a fundamental customization). The website desperately needs a rewrite option for when the AI fails to comprehend the content or when you want a longer summarization. Additionally, the phone app falls short as it is missing AI file summarization and isn't fully synced with the process on the desktop site. Considering how many alternative AI wrappers that exists for both PC and phone, this site offers below avg value, while being incredibly slow at pushing updates out.

Alice is a great tool
Alice is a great tool - but too expensive. With all the other tools, either free and opensource available, I will continue to jump through the extra hoops to use them. There is no way, in my book, that transcribing a meeting should cost me $2.99/hr. Who has that kind of money when there are other ways to make this happen.

I am really happy with Alice
I am really happy with Alice. I have used it to study and just think it is amazing. I think much of the technology around us changes but education and learning almost stays the same. Well not anymore - I have been using Alice to answer multiple choice questions while reading the material and I think I just remember better in less time. This is trully amazing to see and feel the difference from the traditional methods. Here, I just upload my book and instantly I get all the exercises without using all of my time to create those. I can really recommend trying out Alice and seeing how you personally can use it and integrate it into your studies.
