They are winning praise by making injury-prevention and recovery routines feel personalized, short, and easy to repeat. You can attack the two clearest weaknesses: a paid experience that withholds value until after lengthy onboarding and an assessment that can get stuck. You should also make exercise coverage, movement explanations, timers, and readiness metrics easier to evaluate before commitment.

Keeps me consistent
I am not one to write a lot of reviews but had to submit one for the app. I am one month into using the app to help with a chronic shin issue. I normally run 3 or 4 times a week. One long run and a few short ones a week. Over the last few years I have tried to push myself to reach a half marathon distance and every time my long runs hit the 5 mile on the street mark I hit a wall of shin splints. Once I get t this point nothing has helped until I found this app. The consistent ankle and shin work out each night has got me through the issue. I had my first pain free long run in months this weekend. Simple workouts that I can squeeze into everyday made it easy.
More upper body variety
Great app and very accessible, needs more upper body variation within the programs.
Works quite well
Been dealing with an overuse injury and after about two weeks I will say it feels significantly better. There are a couple places where the AI descriptions of the movements aren’t perfect, but overall it works really well.
Been so helpful for my ACL recovery
I just had the unhappy triad (torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus) and got surgery for it 3 months ago. My PT was not helpful and recovery has been slow following such a generic process. Adapted has been a lifesaver for me as it understands where I’m at and came up with a reasonable 15 minute workout that’s so personalized I’ve started feeling better almost immediately. Can’t wait to finish my recovery with the app as it’s helped me through such a tough time in my life when it comes to my health. Would highly recommend for anyone else with knee or ACL issues!
Buy before you try
The app require you to fill out a lengthy onboarding process only to then charge you $9/mo before providing or indicating any value. It was a waste of time and I’m very disappointed as I don’t want to pay for a month subscription before understanding what it does or how it works.
Stronger calves and ankles
Had a grade 2 ankle sprain 5 years ago and have been meaning to make it stronger while playing pickup basketball and running. lower body, knees and all. feel way more confident
love it
makes it so easy to mobility and joint recovery. training hyrox and adapted makes recovery training convenient
Mobility routine
The app is super helpful. I have chronic elbow and shoulder pains from powerlifting. My physical therapist suggest I spend more time on prehab/rehab exercises, but I always find it hard to stick to it. Adapted really helped me finally build the routine. There are reminders and the UI look pleasant, which keep me actually doing it.
